El Xitxarel-lo (organic)

A family tradition of making quality organic meets a modern and unorthadox approach to winemaking in Penedès. (they make a cracking Vermut too)

This single varietal wine is made from Cava’s favourite “Xarel-lo” grape variety, from vines over 60 years in age. Night-harvested, and cold grape macerated over 8 hours in stainless steel tanks, the wine is then aged on the lees for 3-4 months. The bottle is covered in insults in Catalan....

Fruit filled on the nose with aromas of apple and pear. Fresh on the palate, velvety and touches of white fruit with the structure and density from the Xarel-lo grape.
