Amazing Veronese Appassimento (wine made using dried/semi-dried grapes). This technique is more common in this part of the country. grapes are dried for 30 days and then vinified, followed by 6 months in oak.
Bright berry and black cherry aromas. The palate has weight and complexity typical of this style of wine. Supple tannins lead to a finish of delicate sweetness and fresh acidity.
Excellent with strong cheese and slow-cooked meat.
